What kind of ground is necessary to operate a trackless ride? We do require smooth level ground in order to provide the best riding experience with all of our products. Hills, soft ground, or large inclines cannot be used by our trackless rides. (SAFETY FIRST)
Can a Trackless Ride be Operated Indoors? Most commonly the Royal Express Jr. is used for indoor train rentals. However, we do place the Royal Express Sr. indoors at the larger indoor events as well.
When a Royal Express Sr. size trackless unit is needed to work indoors, a ground level double door none portioned entrance way is required in order to get the unit loaded into the building.
The Royal Express Jr. can be loaded in through a 36" wide doorway at ground level or 1-2 steps max to enter.
A freight elevator is also useful for the Jr. so long as it provides the necessary space of 7’ long x 7’ high and 6’ wide to accept the size of the 500 pound locomotive.
Is there a minimum height requirement for a rider? A minimum height requirement for Royal Express Sr. and Royal Ranger trackless rides is 37” Anyone under this height must be accompanied by an adult.
